Tammy Strobel is a grant writer based in Northern California. She works with the Media Arts Center San Diego, developing grant proposals and reports that connect mission-driven projects with funding.
Before focusing on grant writing, Tammy spent more than a decade creating content online—writing thousands of blog posts and newsletters, publishing four books, and collaborating with clients on everything from marketing copy to creative projects. Her work is known for being clear, thoughtful, and grounded in storytelling.
Her earlier career included roles in public affairs, research, and community outreach, where she supported advocacy organizations and educational programs. She’s also taught online classes, helping others build confidence in their writing and creative work.
These days, Tammy is taking a quieter approach to publishing while continuing her professional work behind the scenes. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her doing yoga, riding her bike, or spending time with the people (and animals) she loves.
